Acrylic hybrid implant dentures

A proven, repairable full-arch option on a milled titanium bar, used as the final prosthesis or as a long-term transitional step.

What it is

An acrylic hybrid is a full-arch prosthesis with denture teeth and acrylic set on a milled titanium bar. The bar carries the load; the acrylic carries the aesthetics and is serviceable over time.

It weighs less than a zirconia full arch and is easier and cheaper to repair, which makes it a sound choice for patients who want a final prosthesis now and a zirconia bridge later.

When to prescribe it

  • Final full-arch restoration after implant placement
  • Patients who want a lighter prosthesis
  • Cases where future serviceability matters most
  • A long-term transitional prosthesis while tissue settles
  • Budget-conscious full-arch cases

Questions dentists ask

Hybrid for lighter weight, easier repair and lower cost; zirconia for maximum strength and stain resistance. We will walk through the trade-offs for the specific patient.

In many acrylic hybrid cases, a chipped or worn denture tooth can be repaired or replaced without remaking the entire restoration. Send us the case, photos, and details of the damage, and we’ll assess the best repair approach. Typical repairs can often be completed within 1–3 working days, depending on the extent of the damage.

With proper design, hygiene, and regular maintenance, an acrylic hybrid restoration can provide many years of reliable service. However, denture teeth and acrylic surfaces naturally wear over time and may occasionally require repair, replacement, or relining.

Yes. We keep the approved digital design, so the final zirconia bridge can follow the shape the patient already lives with.
