What we do

Invite a Smiledent technician to join your surgical team. Andrew Rusinowski, MDT, has assisted local surgeons on site since 2010 and takes part in more than 200 surgeries a year. With a technician in the room, conversions go faster, adjustments happen at the chair, and the restorative plan stays on track. Depending on the protocol, your patient leaves with a temporary the same day or the next.

What your office provides

  • Complete patient records required for treatment planning, including scans, radiographs, photographs, bite records, and relevant clinical information.
  • Advance case booking whenever possible, ideally 1–2 weeks before the planned surgery or delivery date, especially for complex implant and full-arch cases.
  • Appropriate operatory setup and required clinical equipment, including compatible implant components, torque drivers, scan bodies, and any system-specific instruments needed for the procedure.

Questions dentists ask

We support most major implant systems, including Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Zimmer Biomet, BioHorizons, Dentsply Sirona, and other widely used platforms. If your system is not listed, send us the implant details and we will confirm compatibility before starting the case.

We can work with original manufacturer components or high-quality compatible components where appropriate. The dentist may specify a preference based on the clinical requirements, budget, and implant system being used.

Often, yes. Send us a current intraoral scan along with clear clinical photographs. We will evaluate the existing restoration and advise on the best restorative approach before any additional preparation or modification is made.

Where the implant system permits, we can design an angled screw channel to improve screw-access position and restorative esthetics. For challenging implant angulation, contact us before surgery or final restoration so we can help plan the case appropriately.
